The contrasting walnut inlays and patterned end grain lid immediately grab your attention, but let your eyes linger to uncover the more subtle details. Constructed from one continuous board, the dramatic grain of the cypress flows uninterrupted around each corner and from the lid to the main body. Moreover, burnished leather footpads on the bottom side slightly elevate the box, creating a crisp shadow line that highlights the bottom edges and clearly distinguishes the box from the surface it rests on.

The interior trey, which is divided into two sections, provides a home for petite items and lifts out to reveal an area for thin, wide items like eyeglasses or notepads.
